Battery lasts at most 3 days and then goes offline. I may have a faulty battery. Everything else about this I love, but gave it 1 star bc I bought this particularly for the unwired battery function. Otherwise the wired camera i alreay have would have been sufficient. Quality of picture is terrific. I love the spotlight feature.

Hello! If the battery on your Wyze Battery Cam Pro seems to be draining quickly please try the following steps:
-Confirm that your camera’s firmware is up to date and the Wyze app is up to date. -Ensure you’re using the charging cable that came with your Wyze Battery Cam Pro. -Verify that you’re using a 5V 2A power adapter.
If all of the above is confirmed we would recommend taking a look at this guide for further troubleshooting tips:

Very clear video and sensor light is bright. Works very well with the app and WiFi extends quite far. So far the battery stays set 100% with the solar pad. Great bundle deal. Highly recommend
Poor battery life. Better off getting a wired solution for outdoor use.

It's been operational for about 2 weeks. Sometimes it records video and sometimes it doesn't. Or it starts late and only records the person when they are walking away. Going to give it a little longer, not sure it is not capture every time a vehicle pulls into the driveway.
The Wyze Battery Cam Pro is a decent battery-powered camera. I used to have a Ring battery cam and Wyze's does just as good of a job for a smaller price. It has all the functions as the other Wyze cameras -- AI detection (subscription required), night vision, SD card local recording, etc. Note that this thing can use a lot of battery. Even at normal settings and an average number of detections, it can use 40% of its battery in a single day. Having solar panel charging is a must.
So far, the camera is performing well. I bought this to replace another model of Wyze camera that was showing sign of humidity getting inside the camera causing malfunctions. Hopefully this one will hold in good working order for a long time.
Easy set-up, easy to use, great picture quality. I like the idea of a long-life battery that is easy to change without having to take the camera down from it's location.
