Great addition to cameras I already have in place.

Incredibly easy uploading, installation and functioning with broad range of functionality. Compliments other outdoor cameras I have, but add range and covers broad portion of yard very easily. While I wanted the solar panels for constant charging it would not have worked well where I live so the double battery option was great especially given the modest cost. Also having either system recording or using a micro SDXC card is a great option. A well thought out tool.
Never just connects when I try to view camera. Have to pull battery and restart device everytime. Not great for a wireless camera that you can hang anywhere since you will need to keep it in reach to pull the battery

Battery life is abysmal unless you want the camera sitting there idle 24 hours per day. If you want video monitoring then this camera needs a constant power supply. Night vision in color and monochrome is inferior compared to other camera models.

Hello! If the battery on your Wyze Battery Cam Pro seems to be draining quickly please try the following steps:
-Confirm that your camera’s firmware is up to date and the Wyze app is up to date. -Ensure you’re using the charging cable that came with your Wyze Battery Cam Pro. -Verify that you’re using a 5V 2A power adapter.
If all of the above is confirmed we would recommend taking a look at this guide for further troubleshooting tips:

Great images. I was disappointed that the battery will not last long if you record continuously to the SD Card. Have to wire it to do that. Also I wanted to be able to turn off the light as it is not needed where I had it. That also uses battery. I would think the option to not use it would be easy to implement.
Disappointed. Doesn’t charge with Wyze Solar Panel. Advertised capability does not work. App doesn’t recognize solar panel option. Solar panel doesn’t charge installed battery. At least the included spare battery in the package can be swapped when needed—but not conveniently when mounted at any height!

So far it's been great. We haven't had the camera go through anything but mild weather yet. Very easy to install and get setup. We've had it up and running for a few weeks and it still shows the battery at 99%, that is with the solar panel. We recently moved and had two outdoor cams. However we use Starlink now and we don't have a router to set up the base for those.
