The only camera From wyze that I'm not impressed.

This camera is not as impressive as the rest, takes a long time to give live feed, battrry lasts one week if not in saver mode, still cant get it to update even right next to router and without cam plus you just get one pic no short video unless in continuous record. Have thought about returning.

Motion detection wasn’t registering correctly. I had to speak to support line for an hour. Apparently, there a setting for cool down period. Default was 5 min. That means no detection for motion sensor for 5 min. Also, I have SD card and it won’t let me record video. All service pushing to cloud service. I bought 3 camera. If I knew that, I would not have bought it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed in the battery life of the camera. Advertised to last up to six (6) months. Following a full charge, the battery l8fe depleted down to 80-85% after only 10-days. That's 1.5-2% per day. Which means, the battery will reach zero charge within approx. 60 days for a total of 70 days of usage bofore a recharge is needed. Very short of the 180 days advertised. Detection is not at 30 feet. But more at approx 5-20 feet.

-Confirm that your camera’s firmware is up to date and the Wyze app is up to date.
-Ensure you’re using the charging cable that came with your Wyze Battery Cam Pro.
-Verify that you’re using a 5V 2A power adapter.

Love this! Please make an outdoor flood light version rechargeable with solar panel included to help keep battery life longer! I have a very long driveway and hard wire cameras are not an option. These cameras work great for me!

this is a great camera and the battery life is incredible. We use one in our RV to keep an eye on the dog when we are away and at night we like to put it outside somewhere to critter watch. Caught a black bear stealing our dogs food once.
