I'm migrating to these from the Ring Stickup Cams. Both have removable batteries, which is nice, but these offer the option of 2k recording and also the option of a motion activated flood light. I leave some of those off and some on, depending on lighting at the location and how much attraction I want the camera to get. The night view image and color are both good. I have the solar panel option on one, but I can't really judge that in December when daylight is short. In December it doesn't keep the device at charge, but maybe summer when there's a lot more daylight.
Great field of view, can see in near darkness, and is very quick to turn on the light and to trigger rules. A great improvement over the old outdoor cams.
Have had my Campro for about a week now. I set it up beside the Wireless v2 for comparison. It looks great at night and day. Love the color night vision. Doesn’t take any longer to stream than the older models. The audio is much clearer. Downside , battery doesn’t last as long and it doesn’t have the range that the v2 wireless has . I tried to move it further away where I have another wyze wirless set up and it doesn’t pick up .I still love it . The quality is great.
Great outdoor camera where plug in not available. Love the solar panel power. Areas for improvement: 1) concerning that the camera won't pick up/record when it falls over out of place as that's motion. It is quite heavy with the battery pack. 2) Please add tree strap(s) option on the next version, as I can't easily screw in / attach to a wall. I'm currently using a web netting to hold the camera & tie it up to a metal pole. 3) it takes an extremely long time for Live View to connect & show itself; and always errors out requiring a reset.
I like it. It doesn't keep/hold a charge as long as claimed and it's installed next to a bright LED light on the house, which should save battery life since it doesn't use the built-in LED. The first week I had it installed the battery went from 48% to 0% in 3-4 days. I'm glad I got the extra battery but this ALSO kit didn't come with the battery charger. Why sell me 2 batteries and not provide the charger? I'm disappointed.

Hello! If the battery on your Wyze Battery Cam Pro seems to be draining quickly please try the following steps:
-Confirm that your camera’s firmware is up to date and the Wyze app is up to date. -Ensure you’re using the charging cable that came with your Wyze Battery Cam Pro. -Verify that you’re using a 5V 2A power adapter.
If all of the above is confirmed we would recommend taking a look at this guide for further troubleshooting tips:
