Outdoor camera new version

Camera has good video and i love the design. Easy to install. I gave it three stars for 2 main reasons. Actually 3, but the other could be easily fixed. The camera does not charge with the solar panel wyze provides. It charges my old version outdoor cam, but not this one. I have done trouble shooting and nothing. Bummer. The other one is when you are receiving a notification it lags to view the video big time. I just click straight to events and forget about live video. The last one is it turns off my notifications for some reason and this is not cool. Firmware is updated.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Slow to trigger, but everything else is good.

I like nearly everything about these cameras, except how slow they trigger. The sensitivity settings seem to do nothing when I adjust them. They always trigger the same.
I bought these to replace 6 year old Arlo Pro2 cameras. The picture is better, but the trigger is quite a bit slower even with the radar and sensitivity set to full, this results in vehicles being halfway through the frame or more before it captures it. It has missed my daughter walking up the driveway as well.

A step up over the v2 Outdoor

The battery compartment is a bit fussy to get open and the battery to get out w/o knocking the cam out of alignment which somewhat defeats the benefit of having a removable battery; the battery life is pretty good unless you need continuous recording (which is not surprising and I don't know how it could be otherwise). I was initially annoyed by how the cam appears in the app (specifically that you need to click in to get live feed when you see an event fire) but I've since discovered the app setting to change that behavior.

Great camera

This camera is excellent. Image quality is as expected and combined with the solar panel my battery is still at 100% over a month after install. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that it tends to be slower than all my other Wyze cameras to connect and notify. But I’m happy with it as a solid solution for an area where I don’t have any power.

Tries two cameras…. Neither preformed very well. Have several other Wyze products and all work great. Plenty of strong wi-Fi signal, bit the cameras struggled to connect and they both were located much closer then a few V-3 cameras. Maybe not quite ready yet for prime-time.
