Quality is good but the sensitivity is weak towards the edge of the frame. Also the 30-50 second lag in recording events is annoying and not accurate enough to capture the full event. Solar panel drains quickly and can't handle continuous recording.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As usual, these cameras setup easily. Very good instructions! Have 8 other WYSE cameras and the setup gets better. These battery operated cameras do not seem to hold the WiFi connection very well at times. I have kept them connected to power and after a short time they disconnect and need reset. Error 16 I think shows! After testing, as long as they are only using the battery pack they do stay connected more consistently. And, it can’t be distancing to WiFi! All use is within 15 to 20 feet to WiFi!

Excellent Quality Video and Motion Detection

I recently upgraded from a B&W camera to this amazing color model. The difference is amazing. Clear, sharp video. Excellent motion detection, and it has a powerful LED light that turns on when motion is detected. So far, the battery life seems to be at least as good as the old one, and I could go 3-4 months without recharging. Bought an extra battery and charger just to make it easier.
