This is my third purchase of the unit. While the image quality is good. I remain disappointed in the Wi-Fi range. Also, I find response to motion to slow at best to nonexistent, this may be due low signal strength. Battery life is good, but that may be due the minimal responses to motion. The light is bright, when it comes on. I hope that future firmware updates will improve the overall performance of the unit.
I have used one of these to replace a version 2 outdoor camera, is where I noticed the reduced range and response.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works good. Only downside is normally it goes straight to the video when you select that camera but in this case you have to select the camera then start it to get video so you have to select twice

I had high expectations and was considering replacing my previous cameras with this model. I am glad i tried one first. Picture is not as clear as on my other cameras. Also seems like motion sensitivity is lower. Finally, where this camera is there is some light from other outdoor lights so the lights never get tripped. I wish they had the option to set them to come on during dusk to dawn when motion is detected regardless of other lights.

I was really looking forward to this camera. Being great, but it has A problem during the morning hours.
It collects so much due that That you can't see a picture and it only happens to these battery cameras. It doesn't happen to any of the camera. It must have something to do with the batteries inside of it. Of it and that I do like this camera.
