The camera provides clear imaged both day and night. The down fall of the camera is that it has no playback feature to review activity over 24hr period. You must be on the camera to observe activity and record. There is no going back.
Disappointed to learn this camera is really built around the Cam Plus subscription. Inserting an SD Card does not allow me to auto record to the card. I need to purchase a subscription to use it to record activity in the yard.
Interface has a steep steep learning curve as it is not as intuitive as I’d like. Also, when I turn off notifications, they come back ON automatically after a day or two.
The camera provides good videos. The microSD card doesn't record. I brought this camera and a microSD card for this purpose, but it was not an option. They should not bundle the microSD card together and specifically spell out that you can't do that.
Well let’s start with this camera does not live up to the hype Wyze has portrayed. Battery is not near as good as the old Outdoor cam. The detection is subpar even mounting at their 7 feet 20 degree angle. Picks up in the blocked zones adjust range and sensitivity then it detects nothing i have decided I am getting away from all Wyze cameras they now rope you into Cam Plus I’m sorry Wyze I have gave a fair chance .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sold and promoted before it was ready for prime time. Still doing upgrades. It will not let you capture a still frame, (burglar). You can only watch the video or download it.
I was a little disappointed. The picture quality is good, but it doesn’t record videos without cam plus, even with an SD card it doesn’t record videos. It just takes images. I wish there were more options for wireless cameras

The problem is micro sd card will not record events to it and continuously so neither option actually works I’ve tried all 3 cameras. This camera is great but it’s getting away from what Wyze is known for and that’s not forcing people into a subscription that’s what this camera does. If you don’t mind that it’s the best camera I have seen for the price but the AD states you can record micro SD that’s utterly false it will not do it.
