first 3 days it stopped working and had to recharge it 3 times to get it working again. Now is working as intended and great image quality. Only would prefer the app had easier way of battery monitoring like the first one had in device info that connected to a hub. Without the first 3 days issue's and app would give it a 5 star rating
I installed the camera above my garage on Sept. 17. Today, Oct. 10, the rechargeable battery still has 22 percent. I bought a spare battery, and I'd advise anyone buying this camera to do the same.The picture is excellent.
Great product, very easy to install and activate. Battery life is great and it is so easy to add additional cameras. We love the cloud storage option. Overall we are extremely satisfied.

Decent focal range and image at 2K resolution but a bit washed out. The working motion detection range is very short, too short for an outdoor camera in my opinion at around 30ft. Battery seems decent so far but would like to see some options so we can create rules to save battery life. -Turn “off” at a certain percentage for example so a solar panel can recover the battery and turn back at at another percentage. There doesn’t seem to be any minimum battery percentage required to power on. This is a problem again when the battery depletes and a solar panel is used…there is no buffer for battery recovery when solar is used. Needs additional motion detection (pixel based could be added to firmware) and/or a configurable continuous Timelapse function to really be useful as far as recording in a longer range area.

Seems to be a good product but is not. I have issues that I can't see in another cams from wyze.

I bought these cameras for outside my home because I have the Wyze Cam v3 and thought these would operate in a similar manner. I was disappointed at the fact that I cannot view event videos, instead when the battery cameras are triggered, the only thing that you can view is a still photo of whatever caused the event. If you want video of the event, you have to pay for a monitoring subscription. This is not the case with the v3 cameras. I can view event videos without a monitoring subscription.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
