I have 8 of these cameras, and they work extremely well. I also use a couple of Wyze floodlights, doorbells, and OG cams. I love being able to control/view them all from one place.
I use solar chargers on most of the Wyze Battery Cams, and they work perfectly.
I have tried Arlo and Ring cameras, and found their performance to be poor.

Affordable and simple to set up and use

WYZE Battery Cam Pro is easy to set up and use. The videos are clear and the displayed field of vision is great. I paired mine with a long universal mount for under soffit mounting and a solar panel. I have another Cam Pro I set up the same way six months ago and it’s working flawlessly. The solar panel comes highly recommended if like me, you’re not thrilled about climbing ladders to charge or change the battery in this camera. Thanks WYZE for affordable solutions to home monitoring!

Camera does what its supposed to more or less. I've used Wyze cams since the first generation. This is my first Wyze battery camera, and the battery part is very disappointing. Nowhere in my researching through the company ads or device information did I find a general run time on battery alone if constantly recording to sd card. I get it set up, and boom right there in the app it says 10 hours on a full charge. Guarantee you that if I had seen that number listed anywhere on their website, I'd have passed on buying 3. The only way I have made it work, is purchasing after market solar panels that have 2xs the charge capability of the wyze ones. About 6 hours of direct sunlight, and the camera is fully charged. By about 3 am, I get notified that the cameras are at 20%. Another issue i have had is that sometimes when you change settings, the only way for them to take is to restart the camera. Also, they forget to mention that a bunch of the features that the cameras have, are only accessible once you pay for their premium subscription.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst thing I have ever bought from this company, will not stay live, night sensing is very poor quality I thought a new model would have been an improvment, this is worst than the first battery model I had

Check Signal Strength: In the Wyze app, go to the camera’s settings > Device Info > Signal Strength. If the signal strength is low (2 bars or less), try moving the camera closer to your router or consider using a Wi-Fi extender. Update Firmware: Ensure your camera’s firmware is up to date by navigating to Account > Firmware Update in the Wyze app. Power Cycle the Camera: Remove the battery pack completely for 10 seconds, then reinsert it securely. Reboot Your Router: Restarting your router can help improve connectivity. 2. Poor Night Sensing Quality
Adjust Night Vision Settings: Go to the camera’s settings > Advanced Settings and cycle through the Night Vision options (On, Off, and Auto) to find the best setting for your environment. Toggle IR Lights: In the same Advanced Settings, toggle the Night Vision IR Lights off and on to see if it improves the image quality. Clean the Lens: Gently wipe the camera lens with a soft cloth to remove any dust or debris that might be affecting the image. Adjust Live Stream Resolution: Switch the live stream resolution to HD for better clarity. Note that 2.5K resolution requires more bandwidth and may cause slower connectivity. 3. Additional Steps
Factory Reset: If the issues persist, you can perform a factory reset: Remove any microSD card from the camera. With the camera powered on, press and hold the setup button (inside the battery compartment) for 10 seconds until the status light turns solid yellow. Once the light flashes yellow and blue, set up the camera again. Contact Support: If the problems continue, please reach out to our support team. Wyze battery camera with solar charge is a great security camera. The solar battery charger makes this a great addition to our system. No need to take the camera down every few weeks to charge and re setup. Color picture really makes a big difference in identifying subjects on screen.
