Battery Cam Pro not as functional as thought

The battery life is not as robust/long lasting as I would have liked. The sensing area had to be adjusted to reduce the camera from picking up leaves falling off our Magnolia tree and the movement of the bamboo leaves to the right side of the viewing area. I added the Battery Cam Pro so that I didn’t have to have an electrical connection installed to power the cam I would have used. Rethinking my decision and what my path forward needs to be. When I installed the MicroSD card it paused the video recording for the camera. That’s not what I thought the memory card would have done. Compared to the Wyze floodlight cams the Battery Cam Pro does give a good feeling of security.

Love the quality of the camera, only this that I have notice in difference with it and my inside camera is that when I choose SD Card, it says no video available at this time.only the events on the SD can be viewed. My inside camera lets you look back on the day even when no events have been recorded. I have them both on my yearly subscription

Given a busy street background, the 30-ft radar works much better for us than visual motion detection. Battery charge life appears better than expected. Will buy a second Battery Cam Pro soon.

I now own 5 Battery Cam Pro model cameras--two of them still work OK--two of the others do not automatically begin recharging when the voltage drops below the specified level (note: these units are hooked up to a compatible solar panel, the panel is working and charges these batteries when attached directly to the battery, but does NOT charge the battery when installed in the camera, all other connections appear to be good and correctly hooked up)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
