The motion detections are missed sometimes. It is very inconvenient not able to see the events in the cloud without subscription to Cam Plus. The battery life is very limited.
The best part of this camera is the fact unlike the previous cameras you can replace the battery fairly easily. It has good resolution and you don't need a base station it connects directly to your WiFi. To me the most annoying part is they drain the battery too fast. If you don't put them on a solar panel you are lucky to get 30 days, contrary to what they say. (I have six of these so I speak from real experience). I tried adjusting the settings, took out the SD card etc, makes no difference. The 2 I have, not on solar are easily reachable so I can replace the battery with no hassle. Last, and maybe more important to some, the battery when removed takes forever to recharge. So buying a spare battery is a good idea. Two things, if you have access to an electric outlet you should buy one of their other cameras, and from my experience put these on a solar panel and you have a fairly good camera. CamPlus is definitely worth the subscription.
Great quality, poor battery life if you choose to use the light and record. I wish that if you chose to use your own memory cards, that you could record longer clips with motion, this is disappointing if you don’t want to pay the monthly/yearly fee.
Very good but must add a solar panel..otherwise battery drain very fast. Without solar, it properly last about 2-3 weeks or even less depending on how much events to records. After adding solar, it almost 100% every day..
Easy pairing, battery life looks good, SD card works well and avoids subscription minus some features but still records videos, resolution is just fine, sensitivity to motion is good. I purchased another two after the first one.
