NONE too happy about the 40% price drop 3 wks after I paid top dollar. I checked, they won't match the reduced price. Just makes me want to hold off on future purchases--if any. Major loss of confidence.
Camera's ok. Easy to setup/mount. Convenient access to battery/SD card. Alerts could be more timely and reliable. Could use a faster load of real time feed.

Easy to install but the battery does not last 6 months as advertised. It detects every little motion causing the battery to die within 1 week. Even when I turn the detection sensitivity down to the lowest setting it still detects nothing there. A shadow could set it off. Also causes the spotlight to constantly turn on. Finally I just gave in and got the solar battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great camera but batteries seem to die quicker than other Wyze batter devices and loading of video/live feed takes an excessive amount of time. I know it isn’t my connection to WiFi as I have cameras a lot farther from router that load instantly.

Nice Camera But the battery life sucks. Lucky if you get 3 days out of it. Great resolution. Going to try Solor panel Have not intalled yet. Also ordered extra battery as it take all day to charge the battery

I've used Wyze cams for years. I've always loved the quality and simplicity. I replaced all my older outdoor battery cams with the Battery Cam Pros because I wanted to get rid of the hub and we were having problems connecting to the stream while away. These new cameras are hub-free, they have amazing picture quality and we haven't had any problems connecting so far. All this AND they have a light! The only thing that I don't like - this the reason for 4 stars - is the mounting. The magnetic mounting of the old cameras was so nice. Super easy to adjust and remove for charging. These ones require that you unscrew the base to loosen and remove the camera. Then when you remount, you have to line everything up all over again. (There is the option to just take the battery out of the camera also, but with the angle of most of them, I'll have to loosen the base to move the camera to an angle where the battery will come out. Also, the screws that are included are very cheap and strip very easily. But, besides the mounting issues, the cameras have been awesome!
