I have been a Wyze customer for many years now and decided to upgrade two of my Outdoor cameras. I ordered the battery cam pro and I’m glad that I did. The camera resolution is great! I love that the battery packs are removable without taking down the whole camera. The motion activated lights are a bonus. I highly recommend!
This camera is amazing. The battery lasts a long time. I also purchased the battery charger and it is fast. Great quality picture and video. Great product
Need faster notifications and it doesn’t let you change settings without paying a subscription. There’s better products from other brands
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there! We appreciate your honest feedback about the Wyze Battery Cam Pro. Here’s some information to address your concerns:
Faster Notifications: The Wyze Battery Cam Pro uses Radar + PIR Dual-Sensor Detection to help reduce false alerts and improve notification reliability. However, notification speed can be affected by factors such as Wi-Fi strength, network congestion, and device settings. For the best performance, ensure your camera is connected to a strong Wi-Fi signal (supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz).
Changing Settings Without Subscription: The Wyze Battery Cam Pro supports local storage with a microSD card slot for 24/7 recording, so you can review footage without a subscription. Some advanced features may require a Cam Plus subscription, but basic settings and local video access do not require a paid plan.
Product Features: 2.5K HDR video resolution Color night vision Integrated spotlight and siren Removable, rechargeable battery packs IP65 weatherproof rating
We’re always working to improve our products and your feedback is important to us. If you have specific issues or suggestions, please let us know so we can better assist you!
The Battery Cam Pro is a big step forward from the earlier, square outdoor cams. It's nice that they don't need a base station, initial setup is easier and faster, and the bracket has been redesigned for greater range of movement. On the downside, the cover plate which screws on over the mounting bracket is slippery and hard to tighten/loosen. It should have knurled edges to provide more grip, especially since it also serves to lock the ball joint into place once the camera angle has been set.
