Simple to install, Simple setup to App, Good picture quality, super wide angle lens, excellent night picture. Would have given 5 stars but no addition USB jack to connect another camera (like the telephoto cam)! Dont know why you omitted the additional USB jack that was a mistake
Poor image quality. Lagging reaction. The original flood light is better, but better to get an aftermarket flood that accepts the pan version of pro camera version. Waste of money on another wyze product that will be obsolete in a year.
When it works it's great. Motion sensing, video quality are excellent. The problem is it randomly keeps on going offline, and I manually have to power cycle it, defeating its purpose. I placed a wifi repeater within 6 feet of it and while app says excellent connection the problem persist. Kudos for wyze for giving me full credit back after all avenues had been tried.
Love the motion detection and the audible voice that warns people they are being recorded. My complaint is with the connectivity, we still have our first Wyze cam out side next to the new Floodlight pro which are the first generation that is ment for indoor use. These old cameras have a better and faster connection to our home wifi network than the floodlight pro. We even bought a wifi extender and placed it closer and still no improvement, but the old gen one cameras did improve with the extender. You would think that with a newer more advance camera system your connective would be faster, but it takes way longer and also will buffer and freezes when using 2k, which is one of the reasons I bought it. So we currently are using HD to allow it a faster connection making the 2k useless. This is disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
