Great lock, but be aware there's no mechanical key

So far so good. Works as advertised. Looks good, affordable price. The fingerprint sensor is great.
Installation was a little difficult for me because the pre-existing deadbolt hole in my door was too small. It only needed room for the short bevel on the back of the outside part, though, so I was able to mojo it with a hacksaw rather than redrilling.
There is no mechanical key, so if the electric motor goes out, you’re boned if you can’t get in through another door. So this may not be suitable for a condo or any other single-entry application.
The mechanism is a little noisy, which I actually like because it’s an audible confirmation that it locked. I don’t know how it compares to other similar locks.
It does not connect to the Internet, which is fine by me. One excellent feature: Even if you’re away from home, you can generate a one-time unlock code with the app, similar to how Google Authenticator works, so you can still let people in remotely if needed.
One criticism about the app: If you set up a temporary code for someone, you have to set a date & time period. There’s no simple “active/inactive” setting for a user account.
All in all, I’m very happy with it.

Let me start off saying, I'm a huge Wyze fan. I believe I have almost every one of their products! I just got the electronic locks installed last week and love them! Had them installed next to my Wyze doorbell/cam. They were easy to install and setup. About 30 minutes on the first one and less than 10 minutes on the 2nd one. The codes work to lock and unlock the door, every time. The most impressive feature is the biometric (fingerprint) capability. After a week of use, through different types of weather and wet hands or dry hands, it still recognizes my fingerprint. I wish my Android phone biometric feature was this good! Love Wyze products because they work as stated and you cannot beat the price point. Great company, great ideas, great products, great prices! You cannot go wrong!

The Wyze Bolt is fantastic. we replaced another brand because we love Wyze and the other brands lock went through batteries weekly. By using bluetooth instead of wifi it saves battery life.

I love the fingerprint sensor and the lock was easy to install. My only issue is that sometimes the lock fails to connect to bluetooth when I open the app (usually to unlock it to let someone in).

Works awesome! Easy to set up preferences on your phone and easy to create a unique one time code if you need it. Being able to see if it's locked or even lock/unlock from your phone is a great feature.
