Lock works as advertised. My front hallway is dark when the door is closed even during the day so I can not see the orientation of the locking lever. I ended up putting a piece of white tape across the face. I do worry that some day I may come home from a trip and find the batteries dead. I like not having to carry a key that can be lost.

Great lock but believe it needs a key access on case batteries die out. We've had 2 occasions where its glitched and wouldnt allow us entry for some reason.

I have two for my new home and love them. Super easy to unlock door. No pesky keys. Easy to grant access to new people. Even used the emergency temp code from an airplane. Like the USB emergency charge port in case normal batteries wear out.
