When I saw the price on this lock, I was a little skeptical. The reviews convinced me to give it a try. Well, installation was a breeze. It's been 3 months now and I am amazed that the fingerprint reader works 1st time every time! The mobile app makes it easy to setup fingerprints, adding users, codes for users, deleting users and much more. Don't hesitate, an electronic smart lock like this will only increase in price as more people flock to purchase.

The hole in the standard door doesn’t accept the bolt and must be made larger. Use the template and it is easy but must be cut for most standard deadbolt openings

It's high time manufacturers stopped gouging the public and began offered great, reliable solutions at affordable prices. After buying and returning a number of competitive electronic locking systems (which are enormously expensive by comparison)
and which are often clunky complicated systems - way over-engineered - or incompatible, or are old technology, etc.) I stumbled upon Wyze.
It's brilliant! This door lock is affordable very east to install, is widely compatible with door thicknesses and it's been reliable in the 3 months we've been using it.
So, to be fair to readers it hasn't really "stood the test of time" yet, but so far, so good.
Love the option of being able to scan in multiple fingerprints for each user, with the added benefit of each users personal security code as fall back if needed.
I only wish I had not already previously committed to Ring and Nest camera systems as I would have gladly committed my entire home to the Wyze brand.
