So far so good.
It would be better if the mechanical is strengthen further. The main bolts are significant smaller than the original deadbolt’s. Also Bluetooth sync takes awhile. Understand the power consumption constraint but perhaps you can leverage NFC and offer that as another way to unlock (via a phone).

Only for looks

While it’s much more appealing in looks, this one lacks the luster of features you get with the other door lock. The finger print feature works infrequently. You do not have the bluetooth ability to control it remotely and sometimes you have to press the code in several times before it unlocks the door but you get what you pay for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fingerprint sensor doesn't work well.

The installation and setup is easy. However, the fingerprint sensor doesn't work well and it may only work 30% of the time. I try to reset the lock and create new fingerprint setting again but it still doesn't work well. It is really disappointed.

Hi there, to create a fingerprint for your Wyze Lock Bolt please follow these steps:

-In the Wyze app, select the Wyze Lock Bolt.
-Go to Settings.
-Navigate to Access Settings.
-Select Add Fingerprint.
-If you haven't already, you’ll need to accept the Fingerprint Permission Request pop-up.
-Place your finger on the fingerprint scanner then lift your finger off the fingerprint scanner.
-If there is no beep, check that the Wyze Lock Bolt has new batteries and that they are installed correctly.
-Rotate your finger slightly, then place your finger on the fingerprint scanner again. Repeat this process until the scanning process is complete (8/8 scans).
Please note that all 8 scans must be completed within 40 seconds or you will see a timeout message and will have to start over. If you are still running into any issues, please reach out to our Wizards team (https://support.wyze.com/) so we may help out. You may tap on the Message icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the support site > fill out the questionnaire > choose the way in which you would like to speak with our team. Please include as much information on your issue as possible. Pretty good. Fairly easy to install, works pretty good, one complaint is when it rains it beeps constantly, I guess it is water hitting the finger print sensor and falsely detecting a finger, hope they fix this with an update at some point.

Great product at a great price. I’m still a bit nervous about having a lock with no physical key, as it’s our only entrance into the house. The instructions could be a little more complete, such as talking about the use of the USB port for an emergency charge.
