We were excited to get this lock and use the fingerprint technology to keep teenagers from sharing codes with friends. However we returned the lock for 2 reasons. 1. No internet connectivity so it could not be controlled remotely or monitored when not at home. 2. No manual key for backup should the battery fail. We gave it 3 stars for the fingerprint technology and the appearance but it failed when compared to other locks on the market. Add wifi (with functionality in your app to see when its locked/unlocked and by who and to lock/unlock remotely) and a key or manual operation option for when the battery fails and you will have a winner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
