I am a huge fan of Wyze and their products. I have never been disappointed with anything from them. And this lock is just another product that they hit out of the park. The lock is of extremely high quality. Full metal body and solid through and through. The installation was super easy and the instructions and all parts are included and very easy to understand.
The set up was also very easy. We were able to program the lock very easily and enter finger prints quickly and efficiently.

I do have several things that I would have liked and actually expected. This is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.
1. I expected it to be wi-fi enabled. I bought two and sent one back since they are not wifi. Hoping that one will come out that has that feature. This was my fault that I was so excited for this biometric reader I missed that it was not wi-fi. It is clearly stated on the website.
2. It would/should have a position sensor to know its been left open and not throw the bolt. If you're not careful and you leave it open past your auto lock feature then the bolt slams into your frame.
3. Biometric reader does occasionally not perform, but seems to be 90-95%.

Great smart lock. Easy to setup and install. My kids love unlocking it with their finger prints, to the point I don’t think the batteries will last another week. Much better than the keypad lock we had before.

Very simple install and setup. It works great, like all my other Wyze products. The price is way better than Kwikset or Schlage. I wish it was available in white or silver though.

Disappointed. Thought I would have app access to it when away and needing to let someone in. You have to send a code, dialogue about how to, etc. Thought it would be similar to first one (Wyze bolt w/keypad built in). The first one lasted 3 months before hardware wore out (lock still worked fine, but unit stopped turning it). A bit frustrating. Starting to be "just like other companies" in my mind. Had hoped their approach held with quality. Starting to think I may be disappointed with Wyze, overall.
