My son in law installed this in about an hour. The instructions were very clear. Once installed, I added it to my Wyze app and selected a code for opening. A few days later I set up the fingerprint which was also easy. I have an older door so I was concerned we would have a problem with installation but had no issues at all.

Works well when near the lock. It is not WI-FI, so can not be monitored or controlled away from home. That should have been stated more clearly. It only operates over Bluetooth, unlike the rest of the Wyze products I have and was not expecting that.

It looks very nice and the fingerprint option works well . My problem is if your away from home and not connected to it via Bluetooth you won’t got alerts of the door opening or closing and who access the door and you can’t make adjustments to it on the settings unless is connected via Bluetooth

I did have a couple of "jams" when attempting to open the door before the bolt was fully retracted which required manually opening from inside.
