Our backdoor which leads to the garage had a deadbolt which we had no key. So we wanted to match our front door by having code/finger print. So now we don't lock the knob until we are in for the night, so now when we get in the garage we can easy open the door with a touch to bring in groceries or other purchases.

Fingerprint doesn’t work when it’s cold. It works better than what we had. But disappointed in the fingerprint sensor. Thought it would be better for the price. We have other Wyze products and love them.

We originally got this as a boot and lock for our basement when we had renters. It worked with adding entry codes for maintenance and any emergencies. We bought a second to use on our entry way to replace our other code based lock. We love it for its simplicity and its ability to add an extra layer of security for us when we are home and for our guests- who we can assign their own codes while they stay. Could not recommend more.
