It was easy to install and i like the functionality. My only complaint and maybe its because i didnt research it enough is that I cant lock or unlock away from home like my cameras. I have to be in bluetooth range. Otherwise nice product.

The Lock Bolt is one of the top things to modernize and ensure your home is safe but easily accessible. The styling is on point and the app and finger print reader work great. Absolute value buy compared to the other products offered by other brands.

Good price, easy installation. A bit flimsy on the inside portion. One thing to keep in mind is there is no way to schedule open and lock times. This is a big negative for me. Overall for the price though, it’s a good deal.

2 issues i have. 1st when the lock get wet, it beeps a lot. The second is the fingerprint doesn't work all the time.

I've worked in home automation industry since Fred and Barney used Dino to open the garage door, so I've had many "connected" locks on the house, Schlage, Yale, etc, but the Wyze lock really hits it out of the park as to usability and quality. The fingerprint reader is easy to use and very handy when your hands are full, a little finicky for my wife's smaller fingers, but works great for me. I thought the lack of "network" connectivity would be an issue, but the ability to remotely generate a "token" entrance code really solves that concern. And since I have the Wyze doorbell cam, I already know that someone is at the door and I can see and talk with them, so the lock doesn't need to be permanently connected to the network since I can provide a synced remote 1 time use entrance code. Very well thought out! Very happy with the system!

I've been wanting a "smart" dead bolt for a while and decided it was time (thanks to Wyze's sale lol) I originally wanted one that I could control from anywhere, but ultimately decided I didn't need that capability. My girlfriend and I have 4 fingerprints stored and we've never had an issue using that method to get in. I've also set up her grandma with a 6-digit code and that works as well. Installation took maybe 15 minutes and it was very easy and straightforward. Wyze always has their instructions on point. If you're like me and just want something that allows you to take the dog for a walk without bringing along jangling, heavy keys - this is what you want. Works great and as usual, the price is even better.

I love the Wyze bolt! Super great product, finger print reader works really well. Pretty easy to install, only thing is that if you have a metal door its a bit difficult to install the bolt plate. I did end up trying to smash the side of the metal in the door and ended cutting it out. I do wish the face plate which gos into the strike plate in the door frame had a option to just be a circle. Because my original latch bolt didn't have a faceplate, and it would be great if it had an option to just be a circle. But other than that I love this device!!
