The Lock Bolt does what it is intended to do. It does it well. It is easy to install and configure. I knew what I was buying. The only reason for four stars instead of five is to let Wyze know that this lock would be even better if it were connected and I could see status and mange it remotely through the app as I can with other Wyze locks, cameras, etc.

Just finished installing the Wyze Lock Bolt. I ran into trouble when I realized the bolt assembly required a plate to be chiseled out on the edge of the door, which would have been fine if I had a wood door. Luckily after some filing and drilling of the old deadbolt I was able to adapt it to work with this product's housing/mechanics. Other than that I like the app interface. Hoping some kind of bridge/camera connection can make this controllable/accessible from farther than the 16 foot bluetooth range. It seems silly that I can't remotely unlock my door from even upstairs

Works great. The fingerprint sensor could be a little bit more accurate. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right. Otherwise, for the price, this thing is fantastic. I did wish it had Wi-Fi capabilities to check the status when you arevaway. But again, for the price, this thing can’t be beaten.

Affordable, easy to install, intuitive interface, and uncomplicated setup.
There is no other lock on the market with a fingerprint reader that comes close to this in price. If you have another door with a deadbolt somewhere (garage, back door) then is is a great upgrade for ease.of use and peace of mind. Zero connection to the internet (which I like) but security events (lock/unlock and who did it) are available via the app once in BT range.
