I bought this and have used it once, mostly just to test it out. I kept it plugged in for about 15 mins. Didn’t get warm or do anything weird. Worked as expected. And charger was super fast.

Lectron Tesla Supercharger is AWESOME

I have a 23 Ford Mustang MME-x. To use the Tesla superchargers, I had to get a plug like this. Tesla also made agreement with Ford to make it easier to use Tesla superchargers (i.e.; I setup Blue Oval and it uses that as my easy pay). Got it in the mail this weekend and immediately went to a Tesla supercharger sight, and it worked PERFECTLY. SO nice to know I can now use J1772 chargers as well as Telsa super chargers. We have Electrify America stations here in Pensacola, but they all already have the CCS at the end. But it definitely works with Tesla superchargers. So between Ford's Blue Oval network and Tesla's network, I should have plenty of charging options now because of this adapter. I highly recommend it.

Finally got to test my adapter on a Tesla magicdock station. It worked great. No issues with the J3400 side latching. The adapter didn't get warm at all granted my EV only pulls 77kw max I seen 75kw at the time I charged. Will be nice when Hyundai/Kia gets full SC access.

Got it in the mail yesterday and ran down to the nearby supercharger to test- works as promised with Ford Plug and Charge. I've been using a Lectron NACS to J-1772 adapter for years so had high hopes this would work and was not disappointed.

Life saver adapter for use at Tesla superchargers

Glad I bought this adapter. I tried it at the Tesla superchargers and it worked great. The only issue I had was that at 1 location in Texas, the afternoon sun heated up the adpater causing it shut down. I did not know what the problem was until I read the operating temp mentioned on the adapter. I cooled it down and it worked. However, I had to wet a towel (just wet and not dripping wet to cause a short) make it thick enough and cover the adapter and it worked like a charm. FYI: non-tesla EVs can charge with this adapter only at 250kW superchargers enabled for NACS adapter only. The 125kW or the 250kW (non-NACS enabled) locations wont work sadly!

I just recently took a trip in my F150 lightning from NJ to the OBX NC. I ended up only using tesla superchargers. There wasn't a lot of other options as far as charges. Overall it was great. Two things to be aware of the supercharger cords are short. I was able to get a charger on the end most of the time. However if you can't you will take up 2 spots. It was not a problem on this trip because there were plenty of available chargers. 2 I had multiple charger faults on my way down I believe it was because it was about 100 degrees outside and the adapter got very hot. I needed to wait a half hour to complete my charge. Other than that it was great. Also I found one of the superchargers in OBX did not work with plug and charge. I figured out I needed to activate it from the charge assist app on my infotainment screen.
