Confidence In The Quality

The Tesla Supercharger network is as good as DC charging gets today, but to take full advantage of it you need an adapter with the right specs. Built to handle 500 amps and 1,000 volts, the Lectron Vortex is that adapter.
Opening up the box with the Lectron Vortex adapter, as soon as you feel its heft and see it, you know you've got a quality product. There are any number of adapters out there, but very, very few I would trust. This is the company Ford partnered with to make their adapters, and that lends a lot of confidence in the quality.
In use, the Typhoon works as expected. You just plug it into the Supercharger handle, and then into the CCS charging port of your vehicle. And voila! It just works.
The price is in line with what you'd expect: somewhat below what OEMs are asking for theirs.
