Noise Door.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am not very happy with the fridge doors as they makes a loud noise when closing it, like something is stuck or binding. Also the ice falls out of the ice tray causing the freezer door not to close properly and is difficult to remove ice from that has fallen on the bottom of the freezer.

Not too sure about the quality of this fridge?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is simply ok but nothing special. The motor is rather loud compared to my 25-year old Amana fridge and the shelving seems flimsy by comparison. The vegetable drawers are much smaller than expected, either because of the water or ice maker set up. The shelves do not go all the way to edge of the fridge leaving a 1-/2 gap at the back on the on the sides. Why did they not design the shelves so they do not have these gaps allowing for items to tip over when pushed to the back or sides of the shelves. Two items that completely bugged us was:
1 - we paid for delivery and installation which should mean that the ice maker and water line are fully functioning once the unit is installed - no, we get the added expense of calling a plumber to hook up the water line or we get to figure that out on our own.
2. - After spending $$ on a brand new fridge, the delivery people say upon departure: Well good luck because most appliances only last 8 to 10 years (if you take care of them). Made for obsolescence which is horrible for consumer and the environment.
You would think that appliance manufacturers would care about how consumers view their products. Maybe Whirlpool should hire real people to assess products before they go to market, not just engineers. I just hope this fridge lasts more than 8 to 10 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tjhe refrigerator is noisy at times. You must be careful to enure the doors fully closed. They do not close easily and can be left not fully closed. The chime to warn you of not closing is very low and comes on very late. It should be sooner.

Good fridge / worthless manual.

We cannot determine if the air filter and produce preserver features are on our model or not. The generic manual does not specify, and the drawings and descriptions to determine the features are very poorly written.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cheap/ thin shelves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice looking and basic refrigerator, however, the shelves are very thin/ cheap--one shattered as we removed the packing styrofoam pieces that held up the shelf. Very disappointed by that! The drawers also need an extra push to close all the way.
