Worthwhile product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thus far, the appliance is working out as expected. The only "issue" at first involved the operation of the ice maker; the instructions could have been spelled out a little bit better but we got it figured out and all is ok now.

It does the job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first unit I received ran for about 2-3 weeks before it quit cooling. Service man confirmed that the compressor had gone out. This unit was very noisy from day one, lots of clunks and other noises when operating. A replacement unit was sent out and it has been operating ok but the clunks and other noises are still there. I guess Whirlpool refrigerators are now more noisy in operation than the many units I have owned in the past. On the plus side, the lighting is excellent inside. One more thing, I did not receive an ice scoop with the icebox in the freezer. I was told it came with one. Thanks for this opportunity to rate.

Hope the second time is better than the first

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first purchase of this unit died after only 7 years. We bought another only because it fits the space in our kitchen best. This updated version is an improvement - drawers slide smoothly, doors open and close easier, and there is a temperature gauge for the freezer and refrigerator, which the prior model did not have. We hope this unit lasts longer.

Very nice product

I wanted a budget-level French door refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator does fine, for a budget-level French Door fridge. I wanted a refrigerator with 3 drawers in freezer for easy access, but these 2 drawers DO hold a lot. One of the refrigerator doors is larger than the other, so you can decide which one is a better size for holding collections of sauces, dressings, etc. that you want to store in the door shelves. Doors easily pick up fingerprints. I liked the less-shiny exterior of my old refrigerator better.

Great looking appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the double doors on top and freezer on bottom. I had a top freezer refrigerator which is still working after 21 years. Just wanted something that was easier to access. The only thing I would have preferred is that you access the water dispenser with one hand instead of having to use one hand to dispense and the other to hold the glass. Otherwise I appreciate all the features.
