Amazing 4K security system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I totally am in love with this night owl 4K security system. I got tired of relying on my internet connection to be able to save and stream my properties video feed. This is all on a 1TB hard drive and honestly it’s a very easy setup. Everything is wired. Each camera comes with ample length to run a connection to different areas of your house or property. So far the Apple app it pretty good. I have very fast internet so my stream is perfect remotely. I love the clarity and the spot light motion sensor. It makes getting a clear shot at night easy. So far I am loving this system and might upgrade for other cameras.
I would recommend this to a friend!

They are easy to install and program in the application.I like the quality of the graphics, the two-way audio and the night vision. I recommend this product one hundred percent. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up this Nightowl 12 channel security setup because we have been having people break into our sheds here, i got the 12 channel with 6 cameras for now so that i could add on more cameras at a later date if needed, everything seems to work very well, fairly easy to set up, hardest part about the hole install is running the wires but i did not want the wireless and have to deal with batteries going dead or losing signal, quality seems to be very good during the day, a little grainy at night, and also most of the time the cameras seem to be in real time for viewing, but i have noticed a few times there was a small delay from the camera to the dvr,the mobile app is a very nice touch because it lets you check the cameras from anywhere you are at from your mobile device,it should be noted that if you do not have a home internet connection (as a lot of people only have mobile devices) you can not use this system without being connected to the internet, it will show up the cameras and what not but if you click on any of them from the dvr it pops up with a message saying please connect it to the internet and try again, can not bring up whatever camera you want you just have to watch them all at once and not get the zoom features, but still a great setup that any homeowner can install if a few hours by themselves.i think it would of been a realy nice feature if the dvr had a couple spots for a couple wireless cameras just incase someone wanted to add a couple wireless ones in spots that you can not get to with wires.and also you could maybe sync it to your doorbell camera if it had the wireless hookup, making it that much easier to keep up with all your security devices.

Quality security cameras, easy self install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My current security system is a single camera so I have been looking for a good upgrade. When I had the opportunity to try the Night Owl 12 Channel 4K DP8 Series 2TB DVR system (comes with six cameras) I took it. Overall the system looks nice, has a clear picture, and was a pretty easy install if you don’t mind entering your attic. I do have a couple of issues that are more like personal opinions which I will address later.
In the box – The camera system basically comes with everything you will need for install with the exception of any junction boxes or wall plates you may wish to use. That said you get the DVR itself, six cameras, an HMDI cable, an RJ45 cable, a mouse, six 60’ rolls of camera cable, and the power adapters/splitters. Everything was well packaged to protect from damage.
Installation – While I will not go deep into details on my installation, suffice to say I installed mine at the tops of the walls where I wanted them and ran the cables through the soffits. The lengths of cable supplied should be sufficient for most homes if you plan out the install first. I chose to place the DVR in a central location in the house which just happened to coincide with the location of my router. I also decided to have the mouse and monitor (which you supply) located in another room. This was solved with a 32’ USB extension and a 50’ HDMI cable. As I am comfortable crawling through my attic the install was pretty easy, the hardest part was at the camera connections on the DVR as the screw on connectors are super close, but this could just be my big hands.
Use – The DVR displays several different formats for the camera layout and the controls for LED, motion recording, continuous recording ETC are intuitive. The camera quality is good even with my less than 4k monitor. The camera will switch to black and white in absence of a light source and the built in LED spot lights seem to work ok but the range seems to be best within around 40’ of the cameras. Personally I just leave the LED spotlights off as the black and white seems to work well enough for the two cameras that are not in light.
Final thoughts, this is an all around great camera system. If there are any drawbacks in my mind it is that the camera lack IR which nowadays is standard on most camera systems, and that the camera housings are plastic. My concern about the plastic housings is that where I live in Florida the sun seems to quickly destroy plastic, usually in a matter of a few years. Other than my couple of reservations this is a great product!

Night Owl 4k Security Cameras

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Night Owl 4k Security Cameras are pretty amazing. We love the clarity and that we are able to use thru wifi directly to our television as well as on our phones. They also track people as they come into view so you are able to monitor quickly. The dvr also has a 1 tb hard drive so it holds a ton of video for you to keep on hand just in case anything needs to be watched. As I said before such a great device and I would definitely recommend to all in need of a great Surveillance system!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So receive this security system today and I install it today and I’m gonna give it a 20,000 thumbs up probably one of the best quality camera has a DVR and comes with a large memory storage.Only thing that is missing is the two way talking but you can also order one that has that so really can’t complain definitely would recommend anyone and everyone to get the system !go night owl

I bought the system Because I was tired of looking out my window every time I heard some thing when I was home alone or when it’s just me and the kids. So we bought the system so that way I sleep and my husbands at work he can also check the camera and see what’s going on from his own phone. I like that not only that camera system protects us while we’re at home but we can check what’s going on at our house when we’re not home either. The camera system has a 2 step Verification and signal sign on verification and signal sign on , Antitheft technology with real time alerts,Free local storage on preinstalled HDD. My favorite part about the camera is it has Human detection with facial caption which gives you very great details of the persons facial features better despite the thieves or whoever is roaming around your house that shouldn’t be. The recording isn’t dependent on the Internet which is a great feature because the Internet isn’t always reliable to stay on. There’s been times where I had other camera systems and people were able to mess with my Internet and it shut my camera off line so they stole packages off my porch and I had no clue who it was until my cameras were switched to a different system and they were caught red handed stealing off my porch. It was my own neighbors stealing my packages and I would of never knew if it wasn’t for this system. It was really easy to install didn’t take that long and the cameras are so nice. It’s a great quality security system and it’s been doing great for us if we feel safe and alert us to any problems or issues the spotlight shines on people when they show up so they know they’re being recorded and being watched. If you do not have one of these security systems I highly recommend this brand and this exact security system it comes with six cameras and the HDD box. We bought this security system because packages kept coming up missing at our home. I put the system up and lo and behold we cut our actual neighbors stealing our packages off your porch. You could see her face clears day tell it was her and we even found out that she was lying she didn’t need to be in a wheelchair she was getting up out of the wheelchair climbing on our steps up to our porch and stealing our packages. Thanks to the security system we caught her and she was told she had to move. It’s a great security system it’s working perfect for our house and out families needs. I highly recommend the security system you will not be disappointed.
