A little noisy

I’ve flown with this product on 2 3 day trips with my company. I think the product does an okay job but not up to the level of an over the ear headset.

My A30 went out after 40 hours and was not sure that I should get the same or a20 , but since my buddy was flying with the first edition he said try it out and I liked it more I can hear more clear ATC and be able to follow what he said and communication clear and clear and at the same time when I fly prop I can hear the plane in a clear way t

Too Noisy

I bought this headset a few weeks ago and I’ve flown one tour at work with it (approx 25 hrs). I fly the Citation Latitude and usually fly approx 800 hrs per year, using a Bose A20 the last 6 years. I have been very happy with the A20 but wanted to upgrade to something with a LEMO plug and decided to give this a try. I will be returning this headset as soon as I’m home. The latitude is a relatively quiet airplane but the noise cancellation on this headset is NOT good enough. In comparison to the A20’s, this headset is very noisy and on top of that VERY uncomfortable. After anything more than 2 hrs of flying my ears are throbbing because the in ear pieces are hurting and the wire that connects them to the headset is too tight on the top of my ear. Additionally, the over-head strap does not coincide well with my Oakley sunglasses. The last thing I had an issue with was the noise cancellation features. We often have pax that will walk up front in cruise and speak with us. I was hopeful the lowest noise cancellation / outside noise amplification would work well for this situation so I don’t have to remove my headset. The first time I used this, I flipped the noise cancellation button and all it did was extremely amplify the noise of the jet and drown out anything the person was saying. I am disappointed with this purchase and hope my A20’s continue to hold up for a while longer.

Love this headset—needs work on the earbud 🎤 mic

I’ve used a Clarity Aloft headset for 15 years and the wire to one of the earpieces finally broke. It was a good headset but I wanted Bluetooth and a clearer and more comfortable ear piece.
I have been very impressed so far with the Bose Pro Flight Series 2. It’s light, comfortable, clear, and compact—everything I expected from Bose.
The only thing I am a bit disappointed in [take note please Bose] is the mic that allows you to hear another crew member without removing the ear pieces.
I fly at FedEx and none of our planes have hot-mic capability for the intercom…I know…it’s crazy to me too. So, we either must leave one ear piece out or be able to hear through it. I was excited about that part of this headset but it isn’t sensitive or clear enough for me to use in our cockpits unless I tell my fellow crew member to speak unnaturally loud. If you guys can fine tune that, this thing will be perfect.

It is really as advertised headset, I loved it, but my issue is with the long flying, my ears gets irritations with the plugin earbuds.

Great features, just was not comfortable in MY ear

I used for 3 weeks, LOVE almost everything about it, the weight, the sound quality, the tap feature to mute the ANR, the XLR plug in and the no need for batteries. All that going for it I had to return the headset. The ear pieces for me were uncomfortable after a 2 hour leg. I tried the different size pieces included and found that my ears were sore at the end of the day. If your ears opening is not small like mine (or your not irritated by foam plugs or thing in your ears) you will love this headset. Just wish they would have been cofortable to me, I would have kept them. I'm back to my Bose A20's.
