Good capacity and quiet, but smells toxic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is small in its overall dimensions, which fits my smaller than usual space, but its holding capacity is impressive. It’s very quiet during the wash. However the plastic shelving materials smell toxic and nauseating for about a month even with once to twice daily washing!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Useless Manual and poor design features.

Instruction Manual is useless. No plug for power cord. Noiser than 16 year Miele we replaced. Instead of 2 leveling feet in rear there is one in middle and you have to find nut to adjust because nothing in manual. It wobbles as you you install. Very vague instructions on how to even start. Water softener salt not included and no reply from Kitchenaid on what to use, Customer Service lacking badly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

High priced dishwasher that lacks instructions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] like the dishwasher, but KitchenAid now skimps on the instructions. The dishwasher comes with a lot of features that are not mentioned or explained in the manual. Such a shame for the work in developing those features and the price charged.

Worth Every penny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed 1/20/25. We absolutely love this machine so far! No more hard water problems. No more hand washing skillet, pots, and pans. No more rinsing by hand to get rid of the white residue. Dishes virtually dry when it kicks off. So quiet my best friend had to feel the water supply line to make sure it was filling up the first time. Old dishwasher was hardwired so no need for the new cord and the machine came with a water supply line so no need for the new hose. Being on a fixed income we weren't sure about spending this much money but the ease of use and results make it worth every penny!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Runs like a dream
