Hasn’t worked waiting for parts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dishwasher came with new house and it doesn’t dry properly. Parts are on backorder maybe 2 to 3 more weeks before it can be repaired.

BIG problem: plates don’t fit!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIG problem: Plates will not fit on bottom rack. Can’t imagine what the designers were thinking!! Other than that, it’s very nice and quiet. But not being able to wash normal size dinner plates is a BIG Problem that can’t be ignored!!

Bottom rack won’t hold plates well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a previous (4 year old) KitchenAid dishwasher that was our favorite ever, but we remodeled our kitchen and went with the panel ready version. We love the top 2 racks, but the bottom rack on this model is terrible. They don’t have enough of the tines that hold everything in place, and the ones that fold down won’t stay up, so plates won’t stay in place! The design of the bottom rack is terrible.

Plusses and shortcomings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This top-of-the-line KitchenAid dishwasher was purchased to replace a top-of-the-line KitchenAid dishwasher purchased in 1994. We have been away about half as long (30 days) as we have had the available use of the new DW (+/- 60 days).
We have found this DW much more difficult to load than its predecessor - space between up-right prongs are either too close or too far apart to allow our normal dinner plates and related dishes to fit easily. Also, its predecessor accommodated quite a bit more dishware along with baking type dishes, etc. Not sure what the problem is??
On the positive side, it is relatively quiet and does a nice job in providing clean and dry dishes without prerinsing (other than removing any chunks of debris). Also, the custom front panel from its predecessor fit beautifully so the new DW feels and looks quite at home in its new environment.

Ok dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is ok. I like their older model better. The racks on the bottom rack are so flimsy and not sturdy enough to even hold a plate . Not much can fit versus the older model.

Smaller than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the panel ready feature but it is not as deep as our old KitchenAid dishwasher. This significantly impacts the ability to load the bottom rack without plates banging. Also racks seem more flimsy and the user (and installation) manuals are poorly written

Sad dishwasher

Worst dishwasher experience I've ever had. I wish I still had my Braun. I am constantly re-washing dishes with the Kitchenaid, even when I've scraped and rinse the dishes before hand. I've tried every expensive dishwashing pod and soap, I still never get a totally clean load. I never had any issues with the Braun.

Wish I had my old one back

Racks are awkward. Too many specialized area. Can’t fit travel mugs . Our cutlery won’t fit in slots designed for that on the lower rack . Showed a row of plates in manual up the middle of lower rack and smalls on either side , that’s impossible. Wish I had my old one back very disappointed. Fancy features but not practical
