So flexible it's not practible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I had paid more attention to how you might load dishes in the dishwasher. While this model is sold based on it's flexibility, it's not practical to load dishes on a daily basis. The second rack in particular is not well designed for loaded several days worth of dishes. When you try and use the emply slots, there is nothing to anchor the dishes in place. Therefor they slide around when opened and closed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ugh

Bought in July '25. (KDTF924PPA) By the time it was replaced because of an integral defect, (3 service visits and a lot of angst, but I could still run the original one while keeping an eye on it for leaks) in end of Sept., I had become familiar with the loading ability. Top 3rd rack is a nice addition, but the middle rack is just a mess. Bowl holder area is nice, but not enough tines to keep glassware upright. Once loaded glasses tumble, already had one break inside the dishwasher. No where to keep wine glasses unless you use the space hogging plastic dividers that are too short for my glasses anyway. Bottom rack has a set of tines that can be flipped up or down. Nice idea except they fall down all the time unaided. Regretting I didn't go with another GE which is what I had the past 20 years. I needed a DW that had a place for wood front panel, so I took the 1st one I could find...Thought I'd be happier since my sister loves her Kitchen Aid. (Different model and loading design but has 3 racks and plenty of mid rack tines to hold up glasses.

I wouldn't recommend purchasing if you anticipate ever requiring servicing as parts appear to be hard to come by. I was sent this dishwasher with two destroyed shelves from the factory. Kitchen aid refused to replace the lemon they sold me and told me my only option was to have it serviced. Ive now gone 5 weeks with only a bottom drawer while I wait for parts with no word on when they will be in. I'm extremely disappointed to say the least especially since it has been unusable since received and I purchased this brand due to what use to be whirlpools (kitchenaid) readily available parts (especially shelf parts).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get my new KitchenAid panel ready dishwasher, but sadly, I'm not satisfied. There has been such a learning curve trying to load my dishes, bowls and glasses in. There never seems to be enough space for my things. I've watched the tuitorial several times and still can't fit the items in satisfactorially. The worst aspect of this new appliance has been the plastic racks that do not stay in one place; they do not lock in position and unfortunately, keep collasping. We actually had to zip tie the bottom rack in position, so that my plates would stay contained in each slot, and not collapse on each other. My old dishwasher was 6 years old and worked like a charm. Now I'm trying to make this new unit work for us!

Purchased these when the heater went out on my previous panel ready that last 15 years. I absolutely HATE the new one. Nothing fits properly. Nothing, not wine glasses, not plates, not bowls. SO frustrating!
