[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely was a learning curve but once I got it down I’m in love with this pump. I’m an oncology nurse working 12s and the leak proof feature is essential for me to pump and do my job at the same time.

5 Reasons Why it’s Not Worth It

1. The only way I can guarantee that I won’t lose milk, is if I don’t use the “flip to finish”. I just take of the pump, take out the container pour what’s in the tunnel into a bottle, then squeeze the tube (making milk go in the tunnel & pour that out, then open the top part of the container to pour the milk out that’s in there. 2. It’s finicky and sometimes won’t latch, even though there is nothing in the way of it. 3. It’ll sometimes say that I have 6 ounces in 2 minutes (not possible). 4. The suction is painful on my nipples, it’s not comfortable. 5. Can’t delete or restart the session (in the app) if the pump is wigging out thinking it has more ounces than it actually does. Or if I didn’t line up the Willow perfectly on my breast, and I need to readjust, you can restart the session on the app so then there’s time recorded that is useless because it didn’t express anything. This thing is just annoying and a hassle for the price. Don’t buy it.

Not worth the money

I am a first time mom of twins and when looking into pumps I thought this one would be good. I was wrong it worked a little but then would hurt during pumping at times even with proper flange and insert sizes and changing suction. The output is not the best or consist with what I’m actually pumping and lead to a decrease in my milk supply which has been really hard to get back up. The pump is also not good for pouring into bottles as even doing as directions state milk still goes everywhere and every breast feeding/ pumping mom knows that spilt milk can be very upsetting.

When they work they’re great. When the don’t you want to throw them out a window.

Exclusive pumping is already time consuming & stressful at times. When these pumps work it’s absolutely amazing! But the mishaps and malfunctions outnumber the successful pumps. They don’t fully empty my breasts even with longer pumping time, getting your nipple centered is tricky, the suction needed to keep them in place hurts if you use these with any regularity, flip to finish is hard to get all the milk out of the flexi tube and the spills are heartbreaking. I used them during my first pregnancy but switched to Medela for my 2nd and output & comfort is honestly way better this time around. And the medelas are half the price of Willow.
