Disappointed

I saw so many great reviews and videos about this pump and as a first time mom I wasn’t sure what to expect so I spent the extra money to get what was supposed to be the best of the best. Unfortunately I feel misled. The app is very convenient and insightful. However, the pump.. has caused me lots of frustration. It takes multiple tries in order for everything to be PERFECT to start a session. What’s even harder is all the steps to perfectly end the pump session using the containers. I have to use directions every time just to make sure I’m not about to lose half the milk I pumped. And I never am emptied by this pump. I love that it’s leakproof and there’s mobility but it’s not worth the hassle and money. Just to add to the annoyingly long list, only one charger is included so you must charge the pumps one at a time. Honestly I could keep going but I’ll lay it to rest. I wanted to love this pump so much :(

I really liked the idea of being able to move around freely while pumping but i think that idea prevented me from looking into this pump further... It is nice but the material feels cheap for the cost, i am afraid to break it! it sucks that you can only be 100% leak free with the bags that you have to purchase. again i should’ve read more into it but i was excited about 100% leak proof pump. I loose a lot of milk once im done pumping, i have tried to troubleshoot it but i feel like it takes longer to try to save my milk than it does to pump it! I do not have time for it. Hopefully I can troubleshoot some more and with more practice am able to master the skills it takes to fully utilize this pump but it is not worth the time or money. I am stuck using this pump that i don’t love and spent a lot of money on. It really sucks but there is no other option than to suck it up and try again.

This breast pump simply does not work. The app will be showing there is milk collected and you will find 25 mins later that it was just collecting air. More than 80% of the time that I have used this pump, I need to REPUMP with a corded device bc Willow output is so low or there are errors. I have done all the troubleshooting and nothing helps. I would not recommend this device. No Mom has time for a faulty device. Don’t fall for fake positive reviews and look at the critical comments before purchasing. I should have listened to those.

Suction is good, took some getting used to with getting milk out. I think they are very heavy /bulky and don’t fit in bras

I was SO excited to get this pump. It was going to allow me more freedom with pumping while being a mom to a newborn and 2 year old. I’m an exclusive pumper and have tried many pumps along my journey. The Willow 3.0 was a HUGE disappointment. The pumps are so big that you cannot handle your infant comfortably on the side your carrying your baby. Oh and the willow bras? Bought em- not effective for holding the pump in place. In the first 3 months of my feeding journey I required 3 replacements! And not from pump fatigue but other issues like not connecting to app, broken pieces, etc. my pumps were replaced due to warranty but it was so stressful to not have my pumps working properly almost every month and having to make the same phone call! You are already stressed enough as a new mom and not being able to get milk for your baby adds to the stress! My latest replacement..I was sent the wrong pump. So now I have to wait longer for replacement. The accessories: last about 2 months effectively. The best are the bags BUT don’t forget to add this to the already expensive cost of the pump. They also freeze well but take up more space vs the square bags in the freezer. I’m a nurse practitioner and was looking forward to wearing this if I had a meeting...however you can definitely tell you’re wearing a pump. It is not discrete as advertised. The app never connected correctly. So many times I didn’t know how much was in the bags/cannisters. And had to keep an eye on the time bc it wouldn’t shut off automatically. My story is personal and this may not happen to you. But I wish I saw an honest review prior to purchasing this pump. If you plan to exclusively pump, stay clear of this one. The one star is only because it pumps...when it’s working properly.

I got this pump with my healthcare worker discount and was so excited. It is very finicky in that if there is any speck of residue on the valve it will not seal and therefore not pump. It also does not read the pumped amounts accurately and routinely gave me “all full” notices when it was not full. Pump parts are supposed to air dry and do not dry if pumping frequently as most do. Pump is also very heavy and even using brand new pumping bras it weighed them down and caused me to have nipple pain. Overall I’m sticking with my Imani2 pump as it is lighter, easier to clean and dry and holds more than 4oz.

I don't know what's the deal with the Williow. It was recommended to me by my O.B and my sister in law. With the heavy price tag it's not worth it. It's too big and too heavy!
