[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cools several average size rooms pretty quickly. Offers a variety of options for continual cooling, such as setting the temp that you want to maintain & setting a timer. Would ahve given it 5 stars, but it's a bit noisy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a heat wave with 117° heat I decided to buy this. My friend had one just like it and it was doing a good job. I used it a little bit through the rest of the summer and found that it did a good job.

Works but has issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The AC works fine for cooling but it seems the thermostat on occasion does not shut off at the desired temp... I woke up one morning with the therm set at 74 and the room was under 70.. I was cold... And the compressor was still grinding away. I unplugged and plugged back in. Worked ok for a few days then did it again...
I hesitate to have it serviced. I really do not want to take it out of the window. Its in a high window and was tedious putting it in.
