The Best AC I've Ever Had!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Desperate for an AC that cooled and was quiet, I picked up this Frigidaire. I am a very light sleeper I need quiet and total dark and this AC delivered! Extra bonus that I can shut off all lights with a touch of the remote (I've never seen this before). It cools quickly and quietly and I am sleeping again! I highly recommend this AC unit and would most definitely purchase it again.

Bad Run

Not sure if they had a bad run on this model, but after a couple of weeks of working so amazingly well that I even recommended it to friends to buy, it began acting all kinds of wonky. Firstly, the whole entire front grill froze up. Covered in ice. No it wasn't a temperature conflict with the outside and no it wasn't because the filter was dirty. No problem though, I followed the "troubleshooting" directions in the manual and it was up and running fine again. About another week went by, and it started throwing ice out through the louvers at the top. We joked that it must think it's an ice maker and it continued to do it occasionally with no rhyme or reason to it. Couldn't find any visible ice inside the unit, so not sure where it was coming from. Then, one day, we noticed that the room wasn't dropping in temp like the other rooms were with the AC running. I tried all of the troubleshooting in the book to see why, though the air it was pushing out was coolish, it wasn't cold enough to lower the temp of the room. We contacted customer service and they were great. Though they couldn't help us resolve the problem, they refunded us the price we paid for it.

Great service from Company

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought product but the electrical components did not function. It blew cool air but you couldn’t control the speed or temperature. After a bit of an argument, the company did the right thing and refunded me. Because they did so I bought the same exact unit and it works very well. The air is really cold and I can actually control it too!

Bought it about 2 months ago. It works great cooling 2 rooms however I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars due to how loud it is. I was hoping for a unit that was a bit quieter
