Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No issues with unit. Not the quietest but not too bad. Remote little confusing. We use it as on-off only. You have to be able to see the unit, the remote doesn't tell you any settings. So if you have to get close enough to see the display you are already up so don't need remote! Thermostat control works well.

Quiet and Efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little gem works like a charm. It is so quiet, I hardly hear it.
I haven't received my first electric bill since purchasing it, so I can't yet attest to the savings over what my last rather run-down window unit cost to run. I have been running this on Eco mode, so I hope to see some savings. As for size, square footage dictated I should buy a 6000 BTU model, but I went for the 8000 BTU and am glad I did. I live in a building constructed in 1910, so my ceilings are quite high.
If you are not terribly handy with these types of things, you will likely need to get help installing it. In my case, I expected it as there are protective window bars on the exterior of the building that complicated matters. Therefore, I asked my building super to install it, and it required a few modifications.
I would not hesitate to recommend based on my experience so far. Moreover, it has made my life bearable through a recent brutal heatwave!
