Hurricane back up Ac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for hurricane ac back up. I have run it about 24 hours and it has worked fine. The reviews do mention that it the fan picks up condensate in the cabinet and makes a light ticking sound which it does at lower fan speeds. It isn’t annoying and doesn't seem to effect the performance. It also states in the owners manual that this is normal and to not drill a hole In the bottom of unit to drain the water. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because I haven’t used it a lot and can’t speak for the longevity.

Pretty cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this air conditioner at a great price and it gets the job done. Has a selection of cooling/speed options and cool my room pretty quickly. A little loud, but drowns out the outside noise, so I guess it's alright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well overall, but pretty loud when starting up and remains a bit loud while running. I also wish the vents had more motion for focusing the air flow. They don’t seem to help much with the direction of the cool air. And the filter light came on only after a few weeks, which I thought was a bit strange. But maybe that’s normal for this type of unit? But the room stays cool and no complaints about that!!!
