High hopes much of a let down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the window ac Summer 2019. It worked keeping the room cool for about 3 months because by fall of 2019 it started to make clunky sounds. Cleaned it worked for about a month and now it keeps freezing up and I air is coming out despite the fact I have cleaned the filter. Even turning Fan mode froze the AC. It doesn’t completely shut off despite me turning power off now requires to be unplug.

I’m disappointed to hear you are not getting the best performance from your air conditioner.
If the outdoor temperature is below 62°F (17 C) or temperature is set too low. We recommend setting your unit to FAN ONLY mode to defrost the coil. Then, set the temperature to a higher setting.

Perfect window a/c unit

It’s has several other features that make this the perfect unit - from its “sleep mode” to its “timer selection”. Very satisfied and nice unit for the money

good air conditioner, good value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only used it a few times so far since the weather has been on the cooler side. That being said, I find that it is working well and is quiet enough. We have it a relatively small room so we can run it on low to medium speed, which keeps it a little quieter. I intentionally got a higher BTU to cool more area in our upstairs, not just the bedroom. I like the features that it comes with as well. I would have given it 4.5 if that was an option. Also I can't comment ondurability, since we have only had it for a month.

Installation Part Limitations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Main unit design & manufacture functioned well in limited trial of several hours once installed. Installation was time consuming as window filler accordion panels needed to stretch for an extra 3" on each side & twice as many insulation panels are needed. Ad did not state 36" window width. Still need 2 insulation panels.
