Awesome Air Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love, love, love my air conditioner. I live in an efficiency apartment and I am on a budget, but needed an air conditioner in the CT heat. I have had other window unit air conditioners, but none compare to Frigidaire. This unit is quiet, cools well and remote thermostat is great!

Not sure if it's cooling properly

I have the temperature set at 62 yet the remote shows that the room only gets down to 70. I have it set on Auto & cool. Shouldn't the temp go down to 62? Is there something that I'm doing wrong? Please advise. The louvers on my last Frigidaire model were much better than this model and the old unit cooled much better.

Hello, Csfrom pa! Thank you for your feedback! The remote control adjust the temperature in increments of five. It is normal to have an offset between the remote and your appliance. Pretty good A/C

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My concern is that after 3 months, there is sone mold buildup on and under the vent where the cool air comes out and also on the styrofoam visible towards the back of the machine, should that be after 3 months of use?

There were times when the temp dropped that it was downright cold! I actually bought two and they both worked great until the control panel on one stopped working. No worries though, Frigidaire Customer Service was fantastic, they gave me detailed instructions, explained my options and the full process. I was and am completely happy with my purchases and would recommend this product to everyone.
