[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased two of the Frigidaire Ac’s for my home. I like the feature of being able to control the AC from your phone, I think that’s pretty cool. However the AC’s are very noisy. I was not expecting that at all. It’s something we have learned to get used to, but it definitely took some time. Never experienced a AC so noisy. Overall it does the job we need it to.

A thing to remember, all air conditioner make some kind of noise when operation and its certainly normal. Sound of Rushing Air-At the top of the unit, you may hear the sound of rushing air being moved by the fan. Gurgle/Hiss-noise may be heard due to refrigerant passing through evaporator during normal operation. High pitched chatter-today's high efficiency compressors may have a high pitched chatter during the cooling cycle. Vibration-Unit may vibrate and make noise because of poor wall or window construction or incorrect installation. Does the job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My central ac system died and needed complete replacement after over 30 years of service. Of course, it quit during the hottest summer on record. I bought this window unit to keep the house cool until I can get the main system fixed... and I'm happy to say it's done a great job keeping things comfortable. I especially appreciate that this model can be controlled by either a remote or by the app on my phone. Plus, the price was super reasonable. Much more affordable than comparable units with smaller btu ratings.
