keeps my room cold

Well made, good quality, quieter than other band

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 8K BTU was installed to replace a different brand similar unit, bought 1 month apart. While it's lighter by a couple lbs, and quieter, it is more efficient: colder and faster - the other brand got returned thinking it was defective, but it turned out it wasn't - it was just the way it was...
We really enjoy the 'Dry' option, as in New England in the last few years at least, we have had higher humidity at lower temperatures - making it difficult to breathe sometimes. This AC helps a lot, along with a couple of tower fans (to circulate the air in whole house). I use this AC unit along with a 10K BTU to cool down 1200 sq ft home, and w/o any shade from trees outside, these units really perform well. They both come with dust filter, and I have also purchased the air filters which definitely help with small particulates in the air, even pollen.
The added 'bonus' is the WiFi connectivity, which, I didn't think I would need (even though I am a geek)... well, it definitely adds to comfort, not needing to check temp or adjust settings - they can all be done via the app, wether I am at home in a different room, or anywhere else an Internet connection is available. Also, the app would keep track of the air filters, and will prompt if the dust filter needs vacuuming or if the air filter needs replacement.
Overall, we're really happy going this route as opposed to mini-split system (really gave it a thought... ).

Good air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm happy with my new air conditioner. I love that it's WiFi enabled and I can turn it on when I'm on my way home from work. Walking into a cool house during this swampy summer is great! Only downside is that it's a little louder than my old a/c, but not enough to wake me up at night. I also really like the remote, it's just the right size!

Amazing air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air conditioner has been awesome. It’s for my daughter who sleeps very comfortably on these warm nights! Great purchase as I can schedule ac for just before bedtime and have it turn off in the night to save energy! Great buy!!

Unit is great; app, not so much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The AirCon is great. One of the quieter units on the market. It looks, runs, and cools great. The WiFi light works double duty and it would be nice to have a dedicated power light.
The app needs a lot of work. When it works, it is excellent. Any changes (add a unit, app update, name change, etc.) messes it up requiring you to delete and reload the app. The instructions for adding a second unit are non-existent. Even with this hassle, it is a great unit and I would recommend it. If the app developers and tech writers can get their act together, this would be a really fantastic unit.
