Great AC 10/10 recommend

This is a great AC - beautiful inside and out (my window is first floor street facing, so nice bonus that it looks good on the outside.) I live in a small apartment, so I particularly like that the AC vents upwards, and isn't blowing on me directly in a small room. The interface takes a beat to get used to, since it's not as basic as a basic AC, but the app is a bonus and love that the LED light turns off.

Good Now but the Summer Heat will be the test.

The unit was very easy to install. Seems to be working well and the test will be this summer to see how it handles the heat. The installation package was missing a locking bracket but I was able to figure a work around.
You might want to have a follow up with your customers six months after purchase to see if the unit is working as expected.

Best AC ever!

We ordered a new Windmill AC because the old unit we had needed replacing. We were looking for something more modern looking and definitely quieter. It is the quietest AC I have ever heard, at the beginning I had to go up to it to check it was on! It looks amazing, sleek and unassuming. Will be replacing my other unit soon and will get another one of these. So not hesitate to buy this, quality product and does exactly what it says on the box 9x quieter.

Replaced an old window unit

Replaced an old window unit with a Windmill and honestly couldn't recommend it more to anyone looking for a new window AC unit. The kit that the unit comes with is amazing and really helps to keep the cold air inside, rather than escaping out plastic side panels that don't seal well. The app is great as well. My favorite feature is the kWh monitor, which shows you how much energy the unit is using (or isn't using, in the cast of eco mode) over time. I was pleasantly surprised that the cost wasn't much greater than most other brands you'd find at big box stores. Overall, would definitely purchase another one if I ever needed another unit replaced in my home.

Super quiet and good ergonomic design. I’ve been searching for a quiet window a/c. They all claim to be super quiet, but windmill is the first to deliver. So good, I’ve bought 3 and will definitely be replacing other a/c’s with Windmill as able. I love the app, although I am still in the learning phase of all the different settings it offers.

There are some incredible pros and some not so great things, which I’m hoping aren’t common and just unique to my unit and home, but I’m doubtful.
I have a cat that I leave alone for about a week at a time when I travel, and I live in NYC, so it’s really nice to be able to have the security of keeping a steady temperature in the room that I can control from anywhere. However, the thermostat is incredibly unreliable and almost always reading 6 degrees cooler than it actually is in the room. I have had to get used to that math when I set the temperature. I’m not sure if this is attributed to the fact that the AC’s fans blow the air upward and to the sides, as opposed to straight forward, and my window is set in/recessed about 5 inches. If this is the case, that’s a really bad design flaw.
I set two automations that fired correctly the first few times, but then I’ll check to see that the set temp is different than the automation for no reason sometimes.
The unit is so beautiful, easy to install, and the app is user friendly for sure. It’s about half as loud as my last AC I purchased in 2019. I’m not sure it’s worth the price tag.
