So far... not happy about this investment

I'm pleased to have a working AC... Yesterday was the first day I turned it on. The several different sounds it makes are distracting. Will I get used to them? That's why a 3 star. I was expecting a 9x quieter AC as was advertised. The staff were / are so nice... I really hope these are only the break-in period sounds.

Using the app. to control the air conditioner is so easy!! We turn it on before we get home so our house is cool by the time we get home. It is very quiet! Very nice appearance. Does a great job!

The AC box itself is very pretty and SUPER quiet. The installation guide isn’t reaaally well suited to windows with storm windows, but with some shims we made it work. It would also be nice to get a little more insulation. We used a couple extra towels we had lying around to get things really insulated.
All that said, the real reason i’m giving this 4 instead of 5: it doesnt turn off on eco mode, even when the room is 10 degrees colder than what it’s set to. Its temperature gauge will even show that it’s well below the threshold, but it wont shut off, not even intermittently. Not very ecofriendly or energy bill friendly :(

Pretty quiet and not a lot of noise when the compressor turns on and off like other portable/window units. Aesthetically pleasing and cools our bedroom well. The Wi-Fi feature works perfectly.

Shipping was quick. Install was easy but you do need 2 people. I have not really used it yet because it has not been warm enough. I love the sleek look of it and it is SO QUIET!

A Fantastic AC

I've owned a lot of different window air conditioners in my life, and Windmill's is by far the best. It's significantly quieter than any other unit I've ever used, looks great, and most importantly is incredibly effective at cooling our apartment (we have the 10k BTU model and our apartment is about 850 sq. ft). I also really appreciate that the air is vented vertically; I really feel like it allows for better circulation of the cool air. Lastly, the app is great; clean, simple, easy to use. Love our Windmill, would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for a new window AC.
