Ssshhh…Bbbrrrr FABULOUS

We opted for the whisper technology upgrade. It’s very easy to install- my husband had ours installed & set up & running in less than 20 minutes. It is SO quiet- husband says it’s bad because he can now hear the rain on the unit- it’s fine he is NOT a light sleeper! And COLD! We thought our old one was cold… but apparently not so much! Our previous unit was 17 years old and ran fine until we bragged on it- then POOF it stopped working. Things have definitely changed in 17 years! We are still in our first week of ownership, but we like it, and the app is sweet!!

Great companion to central AC

So far so good. Installation is as easy as they say. The look is better than I know of any window ac unit - a big thanks for that. Most importantly, it cools great! I do have central AC (live in Louisiana), but use Windmill to offset the heat when cooking in the kitchen. Lately, I leave it on at night and it lessons the strain on the central unit. I give 4 stars because I cannot yet speak of longevity. That fifth star will be if it last a few years.

I bought my first Windmill AC for my bedroom, purchased from a retail outlet. I purchased a second for my living room after installing the first.
Installation was pretty straightforward, especially if you've installed other window ACs. The process is pretty much the same, but Windmill instructions are super clear, and they provide scissors for trimming the side trim. Delivery was fast and smooth. And they look fantastic, inside and out. My bedroom one isn't one of the whisper quiet ones, but I'm OK with that. I like the hum, helps me sleep. I did get the quiet one for use in my livingroom, and it doesn't really interfere with my TV watching. Very quiet, much more quiet than the one it replaced. The app works great! Though you do need to find the right app, there are a few Windmill apps. It also works with Google Home, to turn on and off the unit only. Other controls require the app. Very happy with my 2 purchases!

Set up was pretty straightforward , and actually easier than my old window units. I am still unsure how to install the carbon filter : there was no illustration or description of which side of the filter should face outward/inward.
Other than that, it was easy breezy!
