Great initial run

Directions for lighting the burner were very easy to follow and worked with no issues. Platter size is perfect for making 12-to-14-inch pizza with room to spare. The plater drive system is extremely quiet, and the front control panel switch is very convenient. Heat up time was only about 15 minutes (I did not time it and was in 15°F temperatures). The front mounted thermometer gave an accurate indication of when the oven was ready to cook pizza. The needle just into the red zone for a hearth temperature of 700 – 750°F (the sweet spot in my opinion) measured with an infrared thermometer. Pizza cooking was very even across the top (topping side) and the bottom (crust side). Balancing the top and bottom side cooking did require burner to be turned to low between pizzas or the hearth was too hot to match the top side cooking. This was required on other ovens I have used and it not an issue at all just something to remember to do. Turning the burner to low when heat is not needed conserves propane. Cooking time was about the same as a wood-fired brick oven at around 3 to 3.5 minutes and very similar cooking results. Bottom line is the oven work great and I am very excited to used it more. Nothing better than a fresh baked thin crust pizza with just a little char.

Works great, but it's a bit too expensive The instructions stink and you have to figure a few things out for yourself. The temp gauge makes no sense at all. Either give it a real gauge or something. The included one is useless. It does however make a killer pizza! I have made a great Chicago Thin and a Neapolitan, both of which require different cooking temps and times.

Damaged box dented parts

The box looked like it was thrown off the truck as I’d drove by. Many dents and bent panels, very hard to put together the instructions tell you to use a xx battery yet it takes a xxx battery the temperature very hard to maintain it’s over priced for all the problems that comes with it

Best pizza oven on the market! The rotating pizza stone makes having to stand there the entire time to rotate your pizza so it doesn’t burn a thing of the past. My kids and I have made pizzas twice and meatball subs. Can’t wait to try other recipes like brussel sprouts in a cast iron pan or steaks. It is simply a game changer.

This unit is absolutely amazing . The design is well thought out and the unit itself is solid . I will say the instructions could use some refining as they skip over some steps and have some fasteners that they must of removed and replaced with others . That is my only complaint I can give . We made 7 pizzas the other night and by the last one I felt like a pro. Everyone that took a pizza home said it tasted like it was cooked in a high end restaurant. This oven brings u that quality pizza in 60-90 seconds just as advertised. If you’re on the fence about this unit I suggest you purchase it now before it’s sold out or the price goes up . Well done Black Stone Products !

Way Better Than I Expected

I just tried my new Blackstone Model 6825 pizza oven with cart last night (Jan 26, 2023). I made two pizzas. Having never made a pizza before I was both excited and concerned. It was easy! They were delicious! I couldn’t be happier. The pizza literally cooks in two minutes at 800 degrees. If you prep ahead of time, two people can turn out a pizza every 5 minutes easy — big party time!
Quality of the oven is excellent. Putting it together was easy, although a lot of screws. Took about 1-1/2 hours. It was missing 8 screws for the handles and I am waiting to hear back from them. Didn’t stop me from cooking because the handles don’t have anything to do with cooking.
Better value than the Ooni brand because the Blackstone comes with a very high quality stand, two stones (top and bottom), a rotisserie motor for the bottom stone, and a thick, solid top that helps hold and distribute the heat.
I would recommend this to a friend!
