It’s to hard to control the temperature. We have used the oven three times so far and our pizzas have burned every time.

First impressions not so good as the box was delivered with significant damage including the rotating metal disk falling out during delivery. Once unboxed and inspected, some scratches, dents and chips out of one of the stones and a broken thermometer. I put it together regardless, had to use a rubber mallet to get some of the pieces to fit together. Instructions I rate a "C" as a number of places with lack of clear direction/pictures forced me to take parts apart and reassemble. Instructions talked about an allen wrench which I couldn't find, but none of the fasteners required an allen wrench.. Once together and gas hooked I cooked my first pizza. WOW.. did a great job. just over 90 seconds once the stone got to 700 degrees. I have a small ryobi battery powered shop vac which has come in really handy for cleaning up debris left in the oven after cooking. That and a good putty knife to scrape the stone. The three stars is given because of the shipping damage and poor instructions. I like that the motor driving the rotation is optional battery or AC power.

The rotating platform doesn't work unless plugged in, even with batteries. Not convenient at all!

Frustrated with this pizza oven

So i bought this Pizza oven last year, and was sooo excited. Put it together and it worked pretty well. The reason i say pretty well and not excellent is because since day one it never started with just a twist of a knob. I always had to use a torch to light it. But now, it seems to not want to start at all. And when i do have an occasional start, i get soo much blowback from the flame and heat, that i'm too nervous to attempt to start it at all now. I'm giving two stars because im at the point of frustration with this pizza oven. But it cost me too much to just throw it away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
