Timer versus oven temperature

When I am baking, and I set the timer, I cannot go back and check the temp or change it without losing the minutes left on the timer. Maddening!! My old range had timer and oven temp independent of each other. Frigidaire has a design flaw that should be fixed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice looking and layout of controls is good. One issue is that when turning on a surface burner and then turning down the flame you have to make sure you don’t turn it down so low that it goes out.
